These terms are the agreement between you and Datapoynt Systems ("we") for using Syll. By creating an account you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

Give us accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 18 or older to create one.

Your content

What you put in Syll stays yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people you share it with, and process it to run the features you use, like reading a sticker or sending a reminder. Only upload things you have the right to upload.

Handing off a home

When you hand a home to a buyer, its record (except private documents) moves to their account and you lose access to it. You keep a saved copy under Past homes. Only send a home to someone who has bought it.

Maintenance information is a guide

Reminders, schedules, AI answers and information read from photos or reports are there to help you. They can be wrong or incomplete. Always follow your manufacturer's instructions, check model and serial numbers before ordering parts, and use a licensed professional for gas, electrical, roofing and other work that can be dangerous. Syll does not inspect homes and is not a substitute for an inspection, appraisal or disclosure.

Paid plans

Syll Plus and agent plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Manage billing, and your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds unless the law requires it. If we change a price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Real estate agents

Agents who give Syll as a closing gift agree to send gifts only to their own clients, with the client's permission, and not to use Syll to send unwanted messages. A gift belongs to the homeowner once they accept it.

Things you can't do

• Break the law or anyone's rights using Syll.
• Try to get into accounts or homes that aren't yours, or interfere with how Syll runs.
• Upload anything harmful, like viruses.
• Copy or resell Syll.

We can suspend accounts that do these things.

Availability

We work to keep Syll running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never go down. Syll is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can delete your account whenever you want. If we ever shut Syll down, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice to download your home records.
